WEB CONTENT MANAGEMENT (CMS)
As web content managers, we will ensure that all necessary content is included on your website and is laid out in a way that suits the user. We will review that all content is up to date and accurate. We will manage web pages, images, videos, blog posts, guest articles, reviews and other content provided by you.
We will help you maintain your organisation's content management system (CMS) and will produce user guides and deliver training, as well as work with the CMS developers and internal IT staff to ensure the system has been configured to meet the needs of your organization.
As content managers running your website's CMS we will:
- Create, develop and manage content for organizationʼs web presence
- Coordinate web projects across your organizations' departments
- Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties
- Copyedit and proofread all web content
- Keep current with emerging web technologies
- Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference
- Track and report on all site metrics
- Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors
- Manage your company CMS, working with developers and editors to ensure it's meeting the needs of your organisation
- Conduct content audits to identify gaps and redundancies in the site content
- Create and implement content schedules for people to produce or update content
- Write and edit web copy
- Source, commission and sometimes edit images and videos
- Analyse analytics data to learn how users interact with your site
- Survey users and hold focus groups to learn about how they view your site
- Train staff in writing and producing content for the web
- Update HTML, CSS and JavaScript on your site
- Stay knowledgeable about your site's subject area.
